Friday, Laila came over to meet Maddy for the sort of first time (her first visit, Maddy was sleeping upstairs). Laila was very interested in Maddy and was enthusiastic about helping to feed her and change her diaper. By that, I mean she sat on the floor at my feet and watched the baby like a television show, all the time with the baby monitor in her kung-fu grip. Hey, that can be helpful!On Sunday, Uncle Michael, who is visiting from NY, bought Maddy her Halloween costume. He picked a monkey costume, a fitting choice because Alex calls her monkey and Michael has always loved monkeys. We dressed her in it and flashed some adorable pics.
Our little girl seems to be getting cuter by the day. She is almost able to fit into newborn sized clothes. I tried to buy her a pair of shorts at Old Navy, but they fit her like baggy pants that are too long. What infant can fit into size 0-3 anways? Certainly not mine. On the upside, she has grown out of all of her premie clothes!
