This year we handed out candy. Funny how before you have kids, it is easy to say that you don't really celebrate Halloween (Alex thinks it is a bit hypocritical of us--hey, if you want to wear a costume, there is always Purim!). The baby is born and somehow you have to buy a costume 2 months in advance and have your child pass out candy to stranger's children. It did give me some future costume ideas, though. Well, to make a long story short, Madeline looked adorable in the monkey costume Uncle Michael bought her and she did a great job passing out candy until she fell asleep. Enter two very goofy parents and comedy ensues. Check out our daughter after eating too many sweets, but take note of the healthy alternative in her pocket.
